Writing Groups

Bradford Libraries Writers Groups

Share and discuss each other’s writing, get tips and advice in a supportive writers group.

Generally in a writing group, participants work on their own writing projects – memoirs, short stories, novels, poems, or essays and then share them with other members.

Writing group members read and critique one another’s work in a supportive and constructive manner.

Writing groups provide the opportunity to learn from other writers.

Writing groups work through an exchange of work, group exercises, reading and writing tips, and congenial and helpful critiques of members writing.

Please note that these will be supportive un-tutored writers groups. If you are a beginner or require a more structured course then please contact us for details of creative writing courses
